Omega Seamaster Automatic | Silver Dial | Steel | Original Beads of Rice Bracelet
Description
This is the vintage Seamaster in its most collectable everyday form: a clean steel case, a silver linen dial with applied steel batons and a framed date at three, and the seahorse medallion stamped into the caseback.
Crucially it is still on its original Omega beads-of-rice bracelet, stamped 1039 with a signed Omega clasp. Correct period bracelets are now worth serious money on their own and are usually long gone, so finding one still married to its watch matters. The dial carries honest tritium-era patina, which is described in full below.

Historical Significance
The Seamaster has been in continuous production since 1948, making it Omega's longest-running line. The mid-1960s date models of this type ran the calibre 562 and 565 automatics with quickset date, in cases of roughly 35mm carrying the embossed seahorse. They are the ones collectors chase, and the original beads-of-rice bracelet is now often the harder half of the pair to find.
