The best documented watch in this group, and the paperwork is the reason to want it.
The watch itself is a De Ville Design, a flat steel rectangle with the bracelet machined straight into the case in fine longitudinal ribbing, so it wears like a bracelet with a dial set into it. The silver dial is framed by a gold minute track with four small pin markers, spare and architectural.
It comes with its red Omega box and its completed International Guarantee. The guarantee names the retailer as Highpoint Jewellers, Shop 8 Highpoint, Kotze Street, Hillbrow, South Africa, records Mr Boshoff as the purchaser, gives the metal reference as 1374-380 and the movement number as 1387, and records the sale on 6/12/1984.
The caseback settles it. It is stamped 1387, the same movement number written on the guarantee, and engraved GRADUATION 1984 around the De Ville Quartz medallion. A named buyer, a named Johannesburg jeweller, a sale in December 1984, a graduation gift, and the numbers still agree with each other forty years later.

Historical Significance
De Ville Design was Omega's early 1980s attempt at the flat integrated rectangle, competing with the Cartier tanks and the Swiss integrated-bracelet quartz watches of the moment. They were sold worldwide through authorised jewellers with a stamped International Guarantee, and in almost every case the guarantee is long gone. A surviving set where the movement number on the card still matches the number stamped in the caseback is genuinely uncommon, and here it comes with an occasion attached as well.
