Omega Constellation Quartz Ladies | Two-Tone Steel and Gold | Grey Roman Dial | Ref 6049/010
Description
The Omega Constellation line needs no introduction. What began in 1952 as Omega's chronometer-certified flagship evolved through the decades into a broad family of dress watches, and by the late 1970s and 1980s the Constellation became synonymous with the integrated two-tone bracelet look that defined the era. This ladies reference is a clean, wearable expression of that design language.
The rectangular cushion case is modestly sized for ladies wear, framed by a gold-tone bezel that carries a decorative gold inner rectangle printed onto the grey gradient dial. Gold Roman numerals mark the quarters at III, VI, IX, and XII. The Constellation Quartz signature sits below the Omega logo at 12, exactly where you want it.
The integrated two-tone bracelet is the highlight, with brushed steel outer links flanking polished gold-tone center links. An Omega logo is embossed on one of the centre links. The caseback carries the reference engraving 6049/010 on the clasp, and the caliber 1375 is stamped inside the caseback itself. Everything checks out, exactly as it should.

Historical Significance
Omega's 1370-series quartz calibers (1370, 1375, 1380) were developed in the late 1970s as part of the brand's response to the quartz revolution. These were Swiss-built, high-quality quartz movements — a category Omega took seriously even as cheap Japanese quartz flooded the market. The Constellation range served as Omega's showcase for these movements, and the two-tone integrated bracelet design became a genre signature of late 1970s and 1980s ladies dress watches.
A refined ladies Omega Constellation with confirmed reference and caliber, ready for immediate wear.
