The Longines Admiral Five Star sits right at the sweet spot of vintage Swiss watchmaking. Sporty enough to wear every day, refined enough to pass as a dress watch. This reference captures everything that made the Admiral line a success in the late 1960s and 1970s.

This example features a silvered dial with clean baton markers, the unmistakable five-star Admiral logo, and a date aperture at 3 o’clock. The proportions are excellent, balanced, wearable, and very much of the era. Stainless steel construction keeps it honest and versatile.

Fitted on a later expandable bracelet, making it practical for daily wear. The original caseback medallion is not present, which is common on watches that were actually worn and enjoyed rather than stored away.

This is a straightforward, no-nonsense Longines that delivers pedigree without shouting.
