Rado DiaStar Integral Jubile | Black Ceramic | Diamond-Set | Gold PVD

Description

The Integral is the watch that made Rado's name in ceramic, and the Jubile is its jewellery version. Polished black high-tech ceramic links, gold PVD spacers, and a rectangular case lined top and bottom with a full row of set diamonds.

The black dial is signed Rado in gold with the Jubile script, and eight diamonds mark the hours, set in small square settings. The whole watch is one continuous black and gold surface, which is exactly the effect the design was built for.

The caseback reads Rado DiaStar, Swiss Made, Scratchproof, Watersealed, with the reference 153.0763.3 and serial 10872154.

Historical Significance

Rado introduced the Integral in 1986 as the first watch to use high-tech ceramic for its bracelet, a material far harder than metal that keeps its polish for decades. The Jubile versions, set with diamonds, became one of the defining luxury watches of the late 1980s and 1990s, and the Integral remains in Rado's catalogue today.
