IWC Schaffhausen Electronic | Tuning-Fork | Silver Dial | Steel Cushion
Description
A serious collector's name and a fascinating movement. IWC of Schaffhausen, one of the most respected manufactures in the world, made the Electronic (ref 3402) only briefly in the early 1970s.
It is a tuning-fork watch, driven by IWC calibre 150 (the 300 Hz ESA 9162), a high-frequency electromechanical movement from the era just before quartz took over. A brushed steel cushion case houses a silver sunburst dial with a date at 3, on a period-correct steel mesh bracelet.
