What is ReWrist?
ReWrist is a vintage and pre-owned luxury watch dealer based in Calicut (Kozhikode), Kerala, India. Founded by Glen Elvis MJ, a lifelong watch collector, ReWrist specialises in authenticated vintage timepieces from brands like Omega, Rolex, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Longines, Universal Geneve, and more. Every watch is inspected, tested, and comes with a 1-year service warranty. We have sold hundreds of watches across India and shipped to collectors in over 14 countries worldwide.
Who runs ReWrist?
ReWrist is run by Glen Elvis MJ, a watch collector based in India with years of hands-on experience buying, restoring, and selling vintage watches. Glen started collecting after learning the hard way about the pitfalls of the vintage watch market. Every watch sold through ReWrist goes through the same process Glen would want as a buyer: full disclosure of condition, original photos of the actual piece, and honest descriptions.
Where is ReWrist located?
ReWrist is based in Calicut (Kozhikode), Kerala, India. All watches are photographed, inspected, and shipped from India. Our service partner is Time and Me, a professional watchmaker based in Bangalore who handles all servicing and restoration work.
Buying a Watch
Are the watches on ReWrist authentic?
Yes. Every watch listed on ReWrist is personally inspected and authenticated. We check dials, hands, cases, crowns, movements, and serial numbers against known references. If a part has been replaced, we disclose it in the listing. We do not sell watches with mismatched or counterfeit components. Our detailed condition reports cover each component individually so you know exactly what you are getting.
What does the warranty cover?
Every watch comes with a 1-year service warranty covering the movement and timekeeping function. If your watch develops a mechanical issue within the warranty period, we will have it serviced at no cost through our partner, Time and Me in Bangalore. The warranty does not cover cosmetic wear, water damage from immersion (unless the watch is rated for it), or damage from drops or mishandling.
Can I return a watch?
Yes. If the watch does not match the description or photos in the listing, you may return it within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. The watch must be returned in the same condition it was received. Please contact us via WhatsApp at +91 83778 30038 to initiate a return. Custom orders and watches with explicit condition disclosures accepted by the buyer are not eligible for returns.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. ReWrist ships worldwide. We have shipped watches to collectors in over 14 countries including the US, UK, UAE, Singapore, Australia, Canada, Germany, and more. International shipments are fully insured and tracked. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by destination. Contact us on WhatsApp for a shipping quote to your country.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept UPI, bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), PayPal (for international buyers), and Shopify checkout (credit/debit cards). For high-value watches, we can arrange a video call to walk you through the watch before payment. All transactions are secure and receipted.
About the Watches
What does "New Old Stock" (NOS) mean?
New Old Stock refers to watches that were manufactured decades ago but were never sold or worn. These pieces often still have original tags, stickers, or packaging intact. NOS watches are the closest you can get to buying a brand-new vintage watch. They are extremely rare and typically command a premium because of their untouched, factory-original condition.
What does the condition rating mean?
Every ReWrist listing includes a detailed condition report covering the dial, hands, case, crystal, crown, movement, and strap or bracelet individually. We describe exactly what you will see, including any scratches, patina, or replaced parts. We photograph the actual watch you will receive, not stock images. Our condition descriptions are written honestly so there are no surprises when the watch arrives.
Are the watches serviced before sale?
Watches that need servicing are sent to our partner, Time and Me in Bangalore, before listing. Mechanical watches are cleaned, oiled, and regulated. Quartz watches get fresh batteries and seal checks. If a watch has not been serviced, this is clearly stated in the listing along with an estimate of service cost.
Why are some watches marked as "Sold"?
Our Sold Archive is a record of watches that have found new homes through ReWrist. We keep them visible for reference, pricing history, and to show the range of pieces we handle. If you see a sold watch you like, reach out. Similar pieces do come around, and we can notify you when one arrives.
